16.33  Apologies for absence.


16.34  Declarations of interest.  To declare any pecuniary or non-pecuniary interests.

To agree a ‘blanket dispensation’.


Dispensation would only be required if there was an issue with the quorate due to the interests being declared prevent a number of your members from determining the matter.


Dispensations are now dealt with by the Parishes themselves, unless the Parish Council (by resolution of the Parish Council) have agreed for Braintree District Council to deal with applications for dispensation on its behalf.


Dispensations are applied for by the individual members’ in respect of their declared interest in the matter and can only be granted in the following circumstances.


That so many members of the decision-making body have pecuniary interests in a matter that it would “impede the transaction of the business”.  In practice this means that the decision-making body would be inquorate as a result.  


As advised by Braintree District Council – Local Government Manager.


16.35  Public session.  

To allow the public to speak and ask questions on the possible future development sites.


16.36  Close public session.

The Parish Council to summarise the meeting.


16.37  Any other business (Chairman).
